A small pocket of land that is full of adventurous activities that one can ever experience. Jamaica is a beautiful Caribbean island in the Caribbean Sea that has an array of springs, rivers, waterfalls, and sandy beaches. One can never be disappointed visiting this glorious island. Kingston being the capital city this land provides other spectacular locations. From the legendary Bob Marley Museum to the calming Dunn’s River Falls this place just excites the tourists. The Rose Hall, Montego Bay and the Dolphin Cove Ocho Rios are the must-visit places on this island. For extreme adventurers and vagabonds, the Mystic Mountain Rainforest, Blue Mountains, Green Grotto Caves and the perfect places to explore. Activities from surfing to kayaking, cliff-jumping to mountain climbing. You name it and it’s there (Don’t expect to see the London Bridge though).

The locals are full of enthusiasm. They love their culture that involves folk dances, drama, art, music, and festivals that feature a Caribbean type of carnival. It is said that “Greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals”. The concern with Jamaica’s cultural tradition is evident in an artistic and cultural awakening accompanied by a keen search for roots in folk forms, which are based chiefly on the colourful, rhythmic, intensity of African heritage, with overtones of unique multiracial influences, such as in reggae music.

But, Jamaica is more than just Reggae. The richness and diversity of Jamaica’s cuisine constitute one of its chief glories. Bringing out the Jamaican essence are the star dishes which are curry goat, fried dumplings, ackee and saltfish. A trip is incomplete without tasting these local and rustic dishes which are totally heart-warming and overwhelming. Along with that some soothing beverages like ginger beer, sorrel drink or peanut punch. Nothing is more satisfying than having local cuisine viewing a spectacular tropical view
